These Beanpics of the day are courtesy of the interview we had yesterday on the web show Lynk PR Live. We took them on set after the show. It was our second interview and we had a blast. Shout out to Eryn Vogn who is the head of Lynk PR for choosing us to be on the her very first show. She also wants us to come back and we can’t wait! Nothing but fun and success seems to be coming our way.
We also went to a prty for Contra Magazine afterward and people recognized us by our buttons and t-shirts. I think it is amazing when people notice you for your work. I was and still am beaming!
So we have Team Beanpie as the Beanpic of the day today. For those of you who don’t know who Team Beanpie is, from left to right we have Dino Diaz (Illustrator), Shay Malden (Business Head), & Shaun Bolden (Writer/Creator). That is our three-person team. We do indeed love this pic. The second pic is the cartoon version of us.
Today we have our first interview with Hooked Up B Magazine. It is an online mag and they would love to feature us. I am lookin g forward to this interview! So hopefully soon you will see the write up. Dino and I are going to be there and ready to answer some Q’s. I shoulda washed a Beanpie shirt but I forgot. Until tomorrow folks!

Last weekend was Caribana weekend here in Toronto and that meant Beanpie was out at the Harbourfront. We made quite a few new fans and things have been great for Team Beanpie. Now we are getting ready for an online interview on http://thatchannel.com on Wednesday at 8PM. I think you should tune in. We are also scheduled for an interview with an online magazine. Yesterday was a good day. got a lot done for Urbanology. Set up some dope interviews w/ Murs among amny others. Now It’s time to research.

This year we were not able to participate in the Caribana parade this year becuase we were at the Harbourfront introducing our comic book. Last year however we were there taking Beanpics and this is my favorite of all. I just loved the costume!
So today I can honestly say this has been the best wekk for Beanpie to date. We had a lot more sales via the internet as well as being noticed at parties because of the pin. Today’s Beanpic is the very first taken. I gave it to the street performer here in Toronto known as “The Silver Elvis” and he held up the shirt (for a $1 donation) and took a picture with it. I thought it was great because it was the first of MANY!!!!
We had an awesome interview with Hooked Up B Magazine (an online magazine from Toronto) yesterday. That was really fun. Lindsey made it fun and asked good questions. Before I go into what Beanpie has planned, I want to talk about this particular Beanpic of the day. This ladies and gentlemen, is Jomo. That’s right, Jomo. He wanted to buy a comic book badly and made his way to get one by any means necessary. I really do appreciate that kind of support.
Now, this week we have to get ready for the interview(s) we have pending for the week. We are also ordering more merchandise and I am even thinking about giving away a t-shirt……so look out for a Tumblr only contest coming soon.

Didn’t “tumble” yesterday so here I am today. Got my wife a nice Mother’s Day gift yesterday. Took me almost 2 hours to make on photoshop. I hope she likes it. I had fun making it.
We got pedicures yesterday and chatted it up with the girl that works at the Armani Exchange. Benny and Jonell surprised us with a visit. Benny made Moscow Mules and got a bit emotional last night. I love my family!

Gonna do a new movie w/ the kids today. Well we’ll rehearse for it anyway. My wife got a new dress yesterday….WOOHOOO!!!! Not much else popped off. Just sticking to the exercises. Oh yeah I saw Tooth Fairy yesterday. It was pretty funny. I LOL’d!<——-Yeah that was a fail.
